WHAT HAPPENED?
The attacking midfielder has been out with an ankle injury since early November but is on schedule to return to action in the next week, reports. That could see him make his long-awaited return in the fourth round tie against the reigning English champions.

Maddison has been a key player for Spurs since joining from Leicester in the summer transfer window. He scored three goals and registered five assists in his 11 Premier League appearances before he was ruled out for almost three months.
