  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Tudor took over from Thiago Motta earlier in the season after a poor start to the campaign for Juventus and has led a resurgent team back into the top four and into Champions League contention. As a result, the club are looking to extend his contract until the end of the 2025-26 term.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Reports say should Tudor manage to qualify for the Champions League, an extension will be automatically triggered. However, the hierarchy in Turin are believed to be impressed with how the 46-year-old has managed to steer the ship in Turin and may choose to keep the Croatian around regardless of where Juventus finish.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Juventus were keen to bring Tudor on board initially due to his willingness to accept a short-term contract. With the Club World Cup around the corner, it gives the interim boss another chance to show his talents in the dugout.

There is no official word on when or if the Tudor extension wil be announced, but it is looking increasingly more likely by the day, particularly now that Antonio Conte has seemingly comitted his future to Napoli.
